Description

Friends of the Pasadena Public Library host monthly book sales at the Central Library, 285 E. Walnut St., in Pasadena. The sales are held on the east patio, near our bookstore.

We’re not selling library cast-offs – these are donated books; many are brand new, some are old and rare. Our selection changes every month so you’re always sure to find some amazing bargains! Prices range from 25-cents to $5.00 per book but most are priced at 50-cents for paperbacks and $2.00 for hardbacks.



These sales are our main source of revenue so we really count on and appreciate your business. All of our workers are volunteers and the proceeds from the sales are used to support library programs.





Please mark your calendars and come down to the Central Library on the 2nd Saturday of every month, rain or shine, from 9 – noon and see what we have to offer.
