Located: Burton Barr Central Library, 1st Floor, East Entrance Find used books and new gifts at competitive prices all for a good cause at the Friends’ Place Bookstore inside Phoenix’s acclaimed Burton Barr Central Library. The Friends’ Place is managed by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library and features gently used books, music, movies and audiobooks in addition to new items such as calendars, greetings cards, bookmarks, and creative games/books for kids. Proceeds benefit programming at Phoenix’s 16 public libraries. Members of the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library receive a daily 15% discount on used items and a 50% discount on used items every Monday for Member Mondays.
