Bill’s Bookmobile, the FLH year-round bookstore, has a large selection of books, music, and movies at reasonable prices. All proceeds support Hawaii’s 51 public libraries. The treasured, gently used books at easy-on-the-pocket prices available at the Friends of the Library annual booksale are now available all year long. You can create the excitement of discovering a new favorite author or finding a long-sought-after book anytime, while enjoying the satisfaction of supporting the Hawai`i State Public Library System. Bill’s Bookmobile, a year-round bookstore, opened on January 13, 2007, at 690 Pohukaina St. The store, a long-held dream of the Friends, has become a reality through donations from the family and friends of the late Bill Harper. Bill was an avid reader and lover of books, and this project honors his memory. Sale is also open the first Saturday of every month.
