Maui's best kept secret is MFOL Used Books in Puunene. There are 1000's of books available for only a dime donation (a few books of exceptional quality may be marked with a sticker suggesting a slightly higher donation). Our friendly staff of volunteers is happy to help you find what you are looking for. Donations of books, videos, CD's and DVD's are welcomed. From Kihei (Mokulele Highway), make a right turn onto Hansen Road at the light, and then the first right onto old Puunene Avenue. Drive straight into the HC&S Sugar Mill and continue until you see a "Books" sign on a telephone pole. Turn left onto East Camp 5 Road. Drive by the Puunene School (on your right), look for the next "Books" sign. Then turn right and follow the road until it ends. From Kahului, take the new highway towards Kihei and turn left at the stop light onto Hansen Road. Make the first right at old Puunene Avenue and drive into the HC&S Sugar Mill and then follow the previous directions above.
