Description

Footnotes is a gift and used book shop in the lobby area of the Burlington Iowa Public Library. It is run by Friends of the Library volunteers. The books are gently used donations from the Burlington area, with most hardbacks priced at $3, large sized softcover at $2 and paper backs are $1. Used magazines are $.10 We also offer audiobooks at reasonable prices, plus VHS tapes and DVDs. The shop is open all dates that the library is open. Friends hold 3 book sales annually - dates for 2012 are February 18, June 2 and Sept 22. The day prior to the public sale, a preview sale for Friends members is held. A Friends membership can be purchased at the door for $10 annually.
