This inviting location inside the lobby of the South Charleston Public Library offers a large selection of items including new and used hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books, music, movies, videos, and children's items. Most items are donated by loyal patrons and are in new or like-new condition, many being current bestsellers by popular authors. Book prices range from .50 for harlequin-type romances to $1.00 and up for hardbacks and bestsellers. We have a beautiful display case for signed first editions and other collectibles. These items are individually priced and would make great gifts or additions to book lovers'shelves. Special sales throughout the year include Home Schooling - beginning in August; Vintage books - beginning in October; and Christmas Items - beginning the Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday. Other special sales are displayed as items are received. New items are added to the Bookstore each and every week. Best selections can usually be found Monday afternoons and Tuesdays. Our library offers free parking in our lot conveniently located beside the building. As a non-profit library, proceeds from the Bookstore help support the library's programs.
